English translation — for convenience only

The Arabic text above is the authoritative version of this policy. This English translation is provided to help you read it. Where the two differ, the Arabic text prevails.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains which personal data is collected in the SchoolOS platform, for what purpose, who controls it, where it is held, and what your rights over it are.

This policy is read together with the Terms and Conditions and the Refund Policy, and the three documents are accepted together at signup. The Arabic text is the authoritative version.

This policy concerns the data of subscribers (school groups) and their users, the data of pupils, their guardians and the group's staff inside the group's system, and the data of whoever contacts the group through its public website. It does not apply to any website or service the platform does not operate.

Who controls your data, and who holds it

There are two distinct roles on this platform, and they do not always rest with one party.

The platform's operator is the party that develops the software, runs the servers, and actually holds and processes the data. It is the same in every case and does not change with your country. Its identity is set out in the schedule.

The entity you contract with is the entity that sells to you and issues your invoice. MG Tech invoices the group through its entity in the group's country where it has one, and otherwise through Multiverse Geeks Technologies (Egypt). The selling entity is named at signup and on every quotation and invoice, and the default entity's details are set out in the schedule.

  • Where the entity you contract with is the operator itself, the controller of your account data is the same party you contract with, and there is no third party in that relationship.
  • Where the entity you contract with is not the operator, your account data is held by a party with whom you have no contract. We draw this to your attention expressly. The division of roles between the contracting entity and the operator is as shown against your country in the schedule, is fixed between them by written agreement, and you may request a statement of that agreement's material terms and of which of the two you should address your requests to.
  • The schedule shows, for each country, who the controller is, the division of roles where more than one entity is involved, the applicable law, and the competent supervisory authority.

The data of your pupils, their guardians and your staff: you are the controller and we are the processor

This section concerns a relationship entirely different from the previous one, and the two must not be conflated.

When the group enters the data of its pupils, their guardians and its staff into its system, or when a member of the public sends a message from its public website, those people have no contractual relationship with the platform. Most of the people in the pupil records are minors: a guardian exercises a pupil's rights on their behalf, and that relationship is verified before anything is handed over.

  • You are the controller of this data. You determine the purposes of its collection and use.
  • The platform processes this data on your behalf and on your instructions, and only so far as providing the service requires. It does not use it for its own purposes, does not sell it, does not share it with another subscriber, and never sends it to any AI model. Pupils' data is never used for advertising or any commercial purpose.
  • It falls to you to have a lawful basis for collecting and processing this data, to inform the people it concerns, to obtain guardians' consent where it is required, to set the retention period you want within what the platform allows, and to respond to their requests concerning their rights.
  • It falls to the operator to protect this data, to assist you in responding to requests from the people it concerns, to notify you of any incident affecting its security, and to anonymise or erase it in accordance with the periods set out in this policy.
  • If a request from one of your data subjects concerning their data reaches the platform, it is referred to you as the controller, and the person making it is told that you are the party who will respond.
  • The platform publishes a ready-made privacy notice on your group's website in the group's name. It tells pupils, guardians and staff what is collected about them, why, who sees it and how long it is kept, names the operator as a processor acting on your instructions, and carries a version number that is recorded with every consent and every message your website receives. The contact details in that notice are the ones you set in the dashboard, and it falls to you to keep them correct.

WhatsApp and text messages

If you connect your group's own Meta account for WhatsApp, or its own account with a text-message (SMS) provider, to the platform, the account is yours, the agreement is between you and Meta or between you and the SMS provider, and they bill you for messages directly. We are not a party to that agreement. The two SMS providers the platform can connect to today are Mora and 4jawaly.

What passes through them: the numbers of the guardians and staff you send to, the text of what you send, including notices of absence, lateness and arrival, excuse and exit-permit decisions, and family portal links, and the text of what they reply on WhatsApp. This is your data subjects' data, and it reaches them because you chose to message them through these providers. Their handling of it is governed by their terms with you, and we advise you to read them. Meta, Mora and 4jawaly each process data where its own terms state, which we do not control.

The same account is used to send phone sign-in codes to your users and to guardians when they sign in with their mobile number, so the provider receives the mobile number and the text of the message carrying the code. A code is sent only to the mobile number the account signs in with.

What we hold:

  • The access token for your Meta account and the keys to your SMS provider account, encrypted with a key that is not in the database, so a stolen copy of the database alone opens none of them.
  • The messages sent and received and their text, and each message's state: sent, delivered, read, or failed and why.
  • Phone sign-in codes, hashed with an algorithm that cannot be reversed; a code stops working when it expires.
  • WhatsApp attachments (photos, files and voice notes), held in a private storage path that the public file server will not serve, available only through an authenticated route that verifies your session. Attachments are not downloaded at all unless your group subscribes to the chat inbox.
  • The sender's name as WhatsApp sends it with their message, if it does. Your group may replace it with a name of its own choosing, which then appears in your dashboard alone: it is not sent to WhatsApp, not shown to the sender, and does not change their name on their side.
  • What your staff write about the conversation: a text note, classification labels your group names and colours, the member of staff the conversation is assigned to, and a block flag that stops any message being sent to that number from your dashboard. These are your group's own work rather than the sender's, they are not sent to Meta, and they are not shown to the sender anywhere.
  • The campaign lists you upload: the mobile number, the name and the values that fill in the message. The uploaded file itself is not kept.
  • The automatic replies and reply paths your group sets up, and where each conversation stands in them.
  • The stop list: the number of anyone who asked not to receive optional messages, so that their request holds even after their record is erased.

Who can see it: your staff to whom you granted the messaging and chat inbox permissions, and every view of the chats, attachments and campaigns is written to the read log; and the platform's operator for technical support, as set out in the section on access.

Automatic replies are messages your group prepares in advance and that are sent according to what the sender writes; no decision affecting them is taken on the basis of these replies. You are the controller of this data as you are of the rest of your data subjects' data.

If your group's account is suspended, incoming WhatsApp messages are still received and kept so that none is lost, and automatic replies and notices stop for the whole suspension. During offboarding, campaigns stop.

When your subscriber data is destroyed this data is destroyed with it, as set out in the section on retention and destruction. That does not erase whatever Meta or the SMS provider keeps in its own records, which is a matter between you and them.

The data collected

About the subscriber and their users:

  • Name.
  • Email address.
  • Phone number.
  • Password, held in an encrypted form that cannot be read, and never held in readable form.
  • The verification codes and set-password links sent by email; none of them works after it expires.
  • The secret for an authenticator app, for a user who turned on two-step verification on their account page, held encrypted.
  • Phone sign-in codes, as set out in the section on WhatsApp and text messages.
  • For the group's staff: the school they work at, their job title, their placements, and their roles and permissions.

Billing details, entered by the subscriber in the dashboard after signup, and required before the first quotation is issued:

  • The legal name in Arabic, and in English where there is one.
  • The commercial registration or licence number.
  • The tax number, for a subscriber registered for VAT.
  • The national address for a subscriber in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, or an address line elsewhere.
  • A billing email address and phone number, which may be a particular person's.

About pupils, entered by the subscriber or imported from a file:

  • The name in Arabic, and in English where given, gender, date of birth, the National ID or Iqama number, which is stored encrypted, never shown in lists and never sent to gate devices, the pupil code printed on the card, and the enrolment status.
  • The school, stage, grade and class a pupil is in each academic year, and the date of every move between them and who made it.
  • Daily attendance: each day's state (present, late with the minutes, absent, absent with an excuse, on an exit permit), the time the card was scanned at the gate, the note of whoever recorded it, and absence warning letters and who approved them.
  • Excuses, guardians' requests, their decisions and the reasons for refusal, and exit permits and who collected the pupil. The excuse reason "illness" is shown only to the staff whose permissions require it, is used for nothing but following up the absence, and is never mentioned in a message.

About guardians, entered by the subscriber or imported:

  • The name, mobile number, email address and identity number, which is stored encrypted, how they stand to each pupil, whether they receive the group's messages, and whether they may collect the pupil from school.
  • A family portal account for a guardian or a pupil: the sign-in name, a hashed password and the interface language. Its holder sees only what concerns them: a guardian sees their own children only, and their access to one pupil is withdrawn on the pupil's file without deleting the pupil's record.
  • The notices sent to them and the result of each send.

About whoever contacts the group through its public website:

  • The name, email address and phone number, the kind of message and its text as written, the internet address it was sent from to guard against abuse, the name of the advertising campaign they came through if they came from an ad's link, the version number of the privacy notice shown to them, and the message's status and who follows it. The message is never joined to any pupil's or guardian's record.

About gate devices and pupil cards:

  • Each device's name, school and pairing state, and the card scan log: the pupil, the time and the device. Of a pupil's data the device receives only the name, the pupil code and the class; the camera keeps no image and sends none, and reads the code alone.

About payment:

  • No card details are held in the platform, and no transfer receipts are uploaded to it. Payment is made in one of three ways: by card on the operator's own payment page, by bank transfer recorded by the operator, or by an automatic card charge at renewal from a card saved with the operator. Card details are entered on the operator's page, never in the platform. Quotations and invoices are issued through the operator's billing platform, as set out in the section on who processes data with us. The platform keeps a copy of each invoice's details: its number, amounts, dates and state, and the number of active pupils the tier is computed from.

Operational data:

  • Session records.
  • An audit trail of which user added or changed data, recorded or approved attendance, or decided an excuse, and a log of the operator's administrators' actions.
  • A read log that counts how many people's records each screen showed, without their names, and records which user viewed the website's messages and the chats.
  • Failed sign-in attempts: a keyed fingerprint of the sign-in name, never the name itself, and the internet address the attempt came from.
  • Security alerts: when failed sign-ins repeat from one address or against one subscriber's accounts, an alert is recorded carrying a keyed fingerprint of the address, never the address itself.
  • Development requests your users write from the dashboard, and the operator's replies.
  • The software error log: when and where an error happened, whose request it was, and the error's text with anything that could identify a person removed.
  • Import records: who imported, when, how many rows, and why any row was refused. The imported file itself is not kept.
  • The consent record: the guardians' consents the group records and the notice version they were given under, your consent to optional messages if you gave it, your choice on showing your group's name and logo, and when each was given or changed.
  • The record of acceptance of the legal documents: which version of the document was accepted, when, which user accepted it, and the IP address the acceptance request came from. Each published version keeps a digital fingerprint of its text.

Purposes of processing and their lawful basis

  • Performance of the contract and provision of the service: creating the account, running your dashboard, family portal, website and gate devices, holding your data and making it available to you.
  • Preparing quotations, issuing and collecting invoices through the operator's billing platform, and keeping the record of income: on the basis of performance of the contract and of a legal tax and accounting obligation.
  • Linking one organisation's accounts across the operator's different products under one company on the billing platform, so that it receives one combined statement: the link is made automatically when the tax number matches, and suggested to the sales team to confirm when only the commercial registration number matches. No product sees another product's data.
  • Platform security, prevention of abuse, and the audit log, including detecting repeated failed sign-ins and telling the operator's administrators by a message that carries no personal data: on the basis of the legitimate interest in protecting the platform and its users' data, and of a legal obligation as to data security.
  • Following up software errors and development requests, and sending them to the operator's monitoring platform with anything that could identify a person removed, and analysing them in that form alone with AI tools the operator runs: on the basis of performance of the contract, and of the legitimate interest in keeping the service running and fixing its faults.
  • Technical support and answering your requests: on the basis of performance of the contract.
  • Showing your group's name and logo on SchoolOS's landing page: on the basis of your separate consent, which is asked at signup and which you may change at any time in the dashboard. Declining does not affect your subscription.
  • Operational messages about your account and invoices: on the basis of performance of the contract. Your data is not used to send marketing messages except with your separate consent.
  • Proving acceptance of the legal documents: on the basis of performance of the contract and of the legitimate interest in proving what was agreed should it be disputed. The IP address the acceptance came from is retained as supporting corroboration and nothing more; it is not used to track you, to analyse your behaviour, or for any other purpose.
  • No automated decisions with legal effect are taken about you, and no analysis of your behaviour is carried out for marketing or advertising purposes.
  • The basis for processing your pupils', guardians' and staff's data is your instructions as its controller, as set out in the section concerning it. Automatic approval of attendance and automatic notices run on settings your group configures, and no decision affecting a pupil is taken on their basis except by your staff.

Publishing your legal details on the subscriber's website

  • Your public website shows in its footer your legal name, your commercial registration number and your tax number as you entered them in your billing details. Each is shown whenever it is present in your details.
  • Your national address does not appear in the footer unless you turn its publication on yourself in the dashboard. It is not published unless you do.
  • If you change these details, or stop publishing your national address, in the dashboard, the change appears on your site. What search engines copied before then is outside the platform's control, and we will assist you in requesting its removal.

Who can reach each kind of data

Access to data is restricted in the database itself, by row-level security, not by application logic deciding what to show and what not to show. Each subscriber's rows are invisible to every other subscriber at the level of the database connection.

We state this as an existing technical measure, not as an absolute guarantee against every form of failure. No system is ever impregnable.

The levels of access are:

  • The subscriber's staff: they see the data of their own subscriber alone, and within the permissions granted to each of them inside it, including permissions confined to one school, stage, grade or class. Identity numbers are shown only to those holding their permission.
  • Guardians and pupils: each sees in the family portal only what concerns them.
  • The platform's operator: the platform's administration console signs in to the database under an account of its own, and the database itself bars that account from every table that holds groups' own data about people: their pupils, guardians, staff, attendance, website messages and chats. The operator therefore cannot read that data through the console, and sees of it only what is needed to administer your subscription, such as the account owner's name and contact details and the number of your active pupils. The operator uses the console for operations, technical support and invoicing, and every administrative action is written to an audit log recording who performed it, against which subscriber, and when.
  • The platform's automated tasks, such as sending your notices, approving the day automatically and destroying data on its date, work on subscriber data only as far as the service requires.
  • The access token for your Meta account and the keys to your SMS provider account, by contrast, are stored encrypted with a key that is not in the database.
  • No other party has any access to the data, save the service providers set out in the section on who processes data with us, and two integrations you choose and enable yourself: WhatsApp and text messages, as set out in their own section. There are no third-party analytics tools, and no sharing or sale of data.
  • Data is made available to competent education, governmental or judicial authorities only under a valid legal request, and to the extent the request requires, and we notify you where notification is legally permitted.

Uploaded documents and images are held in private storage paths:

  • The public file server refuses outright to serve these files.
  • They are available only through an authenticated route that verifies your session and that the file belongs to your subscriber, and then issues a link valid for five minutes only.
  • Your group's logo and what you choose to publish on your public website are the exception.

Cookies

  • The platform uses no advertising tools, no third-party analytics, measurement or tracking tools, and no third-party cookies.
  • The cookies used are purely functional: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, a cookie that stores the language you chose for the interface, a cookie that stores the group you picked on the sign-in screen before signing in, a short-lived cookie for the second verification step for those who turned it on, a cookie that keeps a search term on the page it was typed on for two minutes, and a cookie that keeps the academic year you are viewing.
  • The subscriber's website counts the visits each advertising campaign brings in a day, from the ad link's own tags, with no cookies and no third party, and keeps nothing about a visit that identifies the visitor.
  • These cookies do not require your consent because they are necessary for the service you requested to work, and cannot be disabled while the service continues to function.

Who processes data with us, and where it is actually held

We rely on technical service providers to run the platform, and data is held on their systems. This is an express statement of its locations:

  • Application hosting, the database and its encrypted backups: Oracle Cloud, in its Jeddah cloud region, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Uploaded files and images: Oracle Cloud's storage service, in Jeddah.
  • Operational email messages: Oracle Cloud's email service, in Jeddah.
  • Software error tracking: the platform's own tables, in Jeddah, with no outside service.
  • Domain names (DNS), and checking that whoever sends a form is not a robot (Cloudflare Turnstile): Cloudflare, outside the Kingdom. The website's own traffic does not pass through Cloudflare's servers. The check is used on the signup page, the account activation page, and the contact form on subscribers' websites, including those on their own domains, so Cloudflare receives the internet address the visitor came from.
  • Billing and error monitoring: the operator's own platform at mgtech.online, hosted with Oracle Cloud in Jeddah. For billing it receives the billing details set out above, quotations and invoices, and the subscriber's legal name when a quotation is accepted, never the name of the user who accepted it. For monitoring it receives software error groups without any text a person wrote, and development requests with their text after addresses, numbers and identifiers are removed, with the name of the subscriber who asked but not of the person who wrote it. The operator analyses fault reports and development requests, in that form with anything that could identify a person removed, with AI tools it runs itself. The group's own data, meaning its pupils, guardians, staff, attendance and messages, is never sent to any AI model.
  • Card payments: collected on the operator's payment page through a licensed payment provider, which is named in this policy before any card payment is taken. Card details are entered on the operator's page, not in the platform.
  • Email received at the support, billing, privacy and security addresses at schoolos.pro: hosted with Hostinger, outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, so it receives the sender's address, the text of the message and anything attached to it.
  • If you connect your group's own WhatsApp account or SMS provider account: Meta's WhatsApp Business service, or Mora or 4jawaly. Alone among the above these are not providers we rely on, but accounts you own and contract with directly, and the numbers you message and the text of the messages reach them. Their handling of that data is governed by their terms with you, and each processes it where its own terms state.
  • Personal data is held in the locations listed above only. It is held and processed inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and nothing leaves it except what is set out in the section on transfer outside the country.
  • The platform's operator is an Egyptian entity, and its subscribers' data is held outside Egypt, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • We do not sell personal data and do not make it available to any party for advertising purposes.

Transfer of data outside the country

By virtue of the above, your data is held inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and only the following leaves it:

  • The internet address a visitor comes from when they are checked for being a robot, and domain-name lookups, to Cloudflare outside the Kingdom.
  • Access by the operator's staff, the operator being an Egyptian entity, to the platform's systems and to its own platform from Egypt, for operations, technical support, invoicing and error monitoring, under the safeguards set out below.
  • Email received at the support, billing, privacy and security addresses, which is hosted with Hostinger outside the Kingdom.

If you reside outside the Kingdom, including where your group is in Egypt, holding your data in the Kingdom is a transfer of it outside your country.

  • The basis on which the transfer rests is its necessity for performing the contract concluded with you and providing the service you requested.
  • The safeguards applied to the transfer are: written agreements with each of the service providers named, containing the clauses required by the law applicable to the processing; restricting the provider to processing for the purpose of providing the service only; encryption of data in transit and at rest; restriction of access to it; and a written assessment of the transfer's risks, updated when providers or storage locations change. Your group, as the controller of its pupils' and staff's data, may ask us for the transfer documentation.
  • If you connect your group's own WhatsApp account or SMS provider account, the numbers you message and the text of the messages also reach Meta and its systems outside your country, and the SMS provider. The basis for that is your own choice to connect your account and your direct contract with them rather than your contract with us, and we are not a party to the safeguards for that transfer.
  • The competent supervisory authority and the applicable law are set out in the schedule.

Data security

  • Passwords are stored encrypted with a one-way function, and nobody on the platform can read them.
  • National ID and Iqama numbers are stored encrypted, never shown in lists, and never sent to gate devices.
  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with the service providers.
  • Access to subscriber data is confined to those in operations and support who need it, is restricted by permissions, and is recorded in an audit log.
  • Every user can turn on two-step verification with an authenticator app from their account page; it is optional. Permanent deletion of records is confined to the group's owner and requires the authenticator code every time.
  • Repeated failed sign-ins from one address or against one subscriber's accounts are detected, and an alert is recorded for the operator to review.
  • The system counts how many people's records each screen shows, to flag an unusual bulk read.
  • Records of processing activities are kept throughout the activity and for five years after it ends, and include a description of the organisational, administrative and technical measures taken.
  • Privacy impact assessments are carried out where the applicable law requires them, and before introducing any new high-risk processing.
  • No system is absolutely secure. We therefore ask you to keep your login details confidential, not to share accounts, and to notify us immediately on suspecting any unauthorised access.

Reporting data incidents

  • On becoming aware of an incident affecting the security of personal data we control, we notify the competent supervisory authority in accordance with the applicable law within seventy-two hours of becoming aware of it.
  • We notify affected data subjects within three working days of the date the supervisory authority was notified, and without delay where the incident is of a kind likely to cause serious harm.
  • The data of your pupils, their guardians and your staff: we notify you as the controller without delay, and within twenty-four hours of discovering the incident, with what we know at that time, and it falls to you to notify the data subjects and the supervisory authority competent for you, with our assistance.

Your rights over your data

  • The right to be informed: to know the lawful basis of the processing and its purposes, who the data is made available to, and where it is transferred.
  • The right to access your data and to request a copy of it in a readable format.
  • The right to correct, update or complete your data.
  • The right to request the deletion or destruction of your data, within the limits that do not conflict with a legal obligation to retain it.
  • The right to withdraw your consent at any time where the processing rests on consent, including withdrawing your consent to optional messages and to the display of your group's name and logo, without affecting the lawfulness of what took place before the withdrawal.
  • The right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, or to request its restriction.
  • The right to be informed of data incidents that affect you.
  • The right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority set out in the schedule.
  • Requests are addressed to privacy@schoolos.pro and are answered within thirty days. We may ask for what is needed to verify your identity before acting.
  • If you are a pupil, a guardian or a member of staff of one of the groups, address your request to your school group, as it is the controller of your data; a guardian exercises a minor pupil's rights on their behalf. If your request reaches us, we refer it to the group and tell you so.
  • A subscriber can export its data itself from the dashboard, and follow from there its data subjects' requests about their data and its consent records.

Retention and destruction

  • All your subscriber data is held throughout your subscription, and none of it is deleted with the passing of time, except as set out below and what your group deletes itself. The personal record of a pupil and of a guardian remains even after their role ends, such as a pupil graduating or leaving, until your group destroys it or the service ends.
  • You may export your data yourself from the dashboard at any time. To ask for offboarding and the destruction of the data before your subscription ends, contact technical support.
  • When offboarding begins, your account stays open so that you can export what you need, and no new quotations are issued to you. Ninety days after the process begins, your subscriber data is destroyed. You receive a final notice fourteen days before the destruction date. The process may be cancelled before the destruction by contacting technical support.
  • If the trial ends without a subscription, the account is suspended, and its data is destroyed thirty days after the trial ended unless you subscribe before then. You are warned three days before the trial ends and again the day before, and receive a final notice seven days before the destruction.
  • If a paid subscription period ends and is not renewed, the service keeps working for seven days after its end, then the account is suspended, and its data is destroyed ninety days after the suspension unless you renew before then. You receive a reminder seven days before the period ends, and a final notice fourteen days before the destruction.
  • Destruction means deleting your subscriber data, including the data of your users, pupils, guardians and staff, the attendance, excuse, exit-permit, gate-scan and letter records, the messages and conversations, the website's messages, and your subscriber's audit and security records, and anonymising people's records. Every file you uploaded is erased with your group: the logo, images, documents and chat attachments, and none of them is kept. Destruction is irreversible, and what is destroyed cannot be restored.
  • The following are excepted from destruction:
  • Issued invoices: the operator keeps each invoice on its billing platform as the record of income required by law, for the period the law applying to the contracting entity requires it to be kept, and it is then erased; access to it is confined to those who need it for accounting and tax purposes. The platform's own copies are destroyed with your subscriber data.
  • The offboarding record: the operator keeps a record proving that the process began, which notices were sent, and that the destruction was carried out on its date. It names the subscriber and the operator's staff member who acted, and carries no data about your users, pupils or guardians.
  • The record of acceptance of the legal documents: the version accepted, the time it was accepted, the user who accepted it, and the IP address it came from. It is kept whole for five years after your subscriber data is destroyed and is then erased, because it is the evidence of the agreement itself; a record erased along with everything else proves nothing on the day the agreement is denied. Access to it is confined to those who need it to consider a dispute.
  • The stop list: the number of anyone who asked not to receive optional messages stays on the list after their record is destroyed, so that their request holds.
  • Destruction therefore extends to everything but these excepted categories, and we state that expressly so that it is not understood as a complete erasure of everything connected with you.
  • What belongs to no particular subscriber is kept for the following periods and then deleted: the sign-in counters, which hold a fingerprint of the sign-in name and the internet address, seven days; security alerts belonging to no subscriber, four hundred days; and the log of the operator's administrators' actions belonging to no subscriber, two years.
  • The software error log is kept ninety days, and what belongs to a subscriber is deleted with its data if that is destroyed sooner.
  • On the operator's monitoring platform: an error group not seen again for ninety days is deleted, a development request's text is erased two years after it is closed, and a subscriber's requests' text is erased when its data is destroyed.
  • The periods stated are those currently applied, and they may be amended on notice, provided the effect is no less than the existing level of protection.

Amendment of this policy

  • This policy may be amended, and each version is recorded with a number and a date.
  • A substantial amendment, including one that widens the scope of processing, changes its purposes, or adds a new processing party or a new storage location, takes effect after a notice period of fourteen days unless a longer one is announced, is shown to you before it takes effect, and your acceptance is requested where your acceptance is legally required.
  • A minor correction takes effect as soon as it is published.
  • The version applying to you is the version published at the time of the processing, subject to the above.

Schedule

This schedule forms part of this policy. For each country it shows who controls the data of subscribers in that country, the applicable law, and the competent supervisory authority. Any new country is added by entering its details here.

The platform's operator in every case, being the party that holds and processes the data whatever your country:

  • Name: Multiverse Geeks Technologies, trading as MG Tech at mgtech.online
  • Country: Egypt
  • Commercial registration number: 110700700061520
  • Tax registration number: 783353014
  • Registered address: 20 El-Sebaey St., Agouza, Giza, Egypt
  • Contact: privacy@schoolos.pro

MG Tech invoices the group through its entity in the group's country where it has one, and otherwise through the entity named above. When a local entity sells, that entity's details appear on its own quotations and invoices. Groups in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are invoiced in Saudi riyals.

A rule that must be stated before reading the rows: the law applying to the protection of your data is not determined by the entity you contract with alone. The data protection law of your country of residence may also apply by virtue of your residence there, even if no selling entity is registered in it, and even if the processing of your data takes place outside it. The rows below set out what applies in each case, and do not exclude the application of another law to you by virtue of your residence.

Subscribers in Egypt:

  • Controller of subscriber data: Multiverse Geeks Technologies, Egypt
  • The party that actually holds and processes the data: the same party. There is therefore no third party in this relationship, and no need for a division of roles between two entities.
  • Applicable data protection law: Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its executive regulations
  • Competent supervisory authority: the Personal Data Protection Centre, Egypt

Subscribers outside Egypt, including subscribers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:

  • Controller of subscriber data: Multiverse Geeks Technologies, Egypt, as the default entity
  • The party that actually holds and processes the data: the same party
  • Applicable data protection law: Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its executive regulations, by virtue of the controller and processor being an Egyptian entity. The data protection law of your country of residence also applies where that law provides for its application to the processing of its residents' data from outside it. For residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations apply on this basis, to the group's data and to the pupils', guardians' and staff's data the group controls.
  • Competent supervisory authority: the Personal Data Protection Centre, Egypt. And for residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also: the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority.
