Today
The first thing you see when you sign in: the group's numbers now, what waits for your decision, and what happened last, on one page. Every number is a door to its page.
Open the page in SchoolOSWhat it is for
To know at a glance how the group is doing and what waits for you, without opening every page. The board changes nothing by itself: everything on it is a way to the page where you do the work.
Who uses it
Every member of staff who signs in, but the board shows each only what their permissions open; a manager's board is not that of someone who works in one part.
Step by step
- Start with the line under the title: it names the sections the board is built from and your scope, the part of the group the numbers speak for.
- The numbers at the top: press a number to open its page, or the rows behind it when it has details.
- “Needs your decision”: each line has a count and a sentence saying what waits for you, and a button with its verb that opens the page where you finish it.
- Below are the panels of tables and charts: press a panel's title to open its page.
- “Latest activity”: the newest records across the sections, newest first; press a line to open its record.
- In the first days the first-week card shows; once half of its steps are done it becomes a line in “Needs your decision”.
How it works
Every part of the board is read when the page opens and does not refresh by itself: reload the page to see what is new. Each part is read on its own, so when one cannot be read it says so and the others stay. A part shows only when your permissions open its page, and its numbers are held to your scope. “Needs your decision” shows a line only while something waits: the setup steps left once half are done, the data subject requests overdue or due within the week for whoever opens their page, the days left to the plan's renewal in the fourteen days before it for whoever opens the subscription page, and what the other sections add. A number's details are read only when you ask, up to a limit of rows, and the read is recorded by its count, never by the names in it.

Questions
- Why can't I see a number a colleague sees?
- The board shows each member of staff only what their permissions open, within their own scope. If you need a number, ask the group's owner or whoever manages the roles for the permission.
- It says “This part could not be loaded”.
- Only that part could not be read; the rest of the board is fine. Press “Reload”, and if it keeps happening report it from “Development requests”.
- A line in “Needs your decision” is gone.
- A line stays while something waits for your decision and goes when it is done. Reload the page to be sure.
